Interactive Brokers (IBKR) expands AI trading capabilities, adding integration with ChatGPT and Grok
Global automated broker Interactive Brokers announced the expansion of its Agentic trading feature, adding access to ChatGPT and Grok on top of the existing integration with Claude.
It is reported that users can securely connect to the aforementioned AI tools through their existing accounts, using natural language for portfolio exploration, market analysis, and generating trading instructions. At the same time, the platform has expanded the asset classes for generating trading instructions from stocks and ETFs to options, futures, and futures options. To ensure the safety of funds, the system will not share passwords or API keys with AI providers, and all AI-generated trading instructions must undergo final review and approval by the user on a dedicated "AI Instructions" page before being submitted to the market.
